WONDERBOX

Wonderbox is an in-development VR experience made for Sensorium Theatre and funded by a competitive government grant. It utilises the Meta Quest's hand-tracking feature and is designed to work in tandem with Sensorium's interactive performances.

Starting as a standalone VR app for neurodivergent youth, Sensorium Theater was originally a partner in development, and the main recipient of the game. However, as the project developed it became clear that full partnership with Sensorium would be beneficial.

The project became Wonderbox, an interactive environment designed for neurodivergent youth. A main drawing point is hand tracking, a new feature on the Meta Quest 2 headset. This allows for youth (who may feel overcrowded by the equipment) to need nothing more than a lightweight headset in order to realistically interact with the virtual world.

I am currently deep into development on Wonderbox, working with both the project manager and engineers at Sensorium to make a truly great, synchronized product!
